Both portraits are cut into black granite rather than printed on it. Nothing is added to the surface, so there is no layer that can peel or fade, and the images will read the same in eighty years as they do on the day the stone arrives.

Photo Retouch
Choose Original Photo if your pictures are sharp and well lit, Photo Enhance to adjust brightness, contrast and detail, or Enhance + Cutout to lift each of them onto a clean background. Older couples' photographs are often the oldest in the album — Enhance + Cutout is usually the right choice.
A powder-coated stand is available separately. No holes are drilled in the stone.
